2011 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM by ASC
Pontiac's days may be numbered as General Motors plans to phase out the historic brand by the end of 2010, but that hasn't dampened ASC Creative Services' attempts to make a Trans Am version out of the all-new Chevy Camaro coupe. ASC has worked many times with General Motors in the past. The design and development firm's proposal for a Camaro-based Pontiac Trans Am is a fairly simply conversion that could easily lead to a custom-order production model. The changes include a new front fascia complete with unique head lights, twin-kidney grill inserts and restyled apron, a rear-facing hood shaker, new side skirts and alloy wheel designs plus rear-fender air vents. At the back the design proposes a new rear fascia with distinctive tail lights, boot spoiler and a specific apron housing new exhaust pipes.
2011 Nissan 200SX Sports Car Prototype
News of a rebirth for the Nissan 200SX, first reported one year ago, remained in circulation until CEO Carlos Ghosn announced this year that the project had been cancelled. Now, according to US website Inside Line, a renewed focus on sports cars by competitors Toyota and Subaru has prompted Nissan to revive the popular sports car. Known as the Silvia in Japan (and among the model’s adherents), the new 200SX will reportedly be built on a shortened version of the FR-L platform that underpins the 370Z and the Skyline.

The Range Rover Evoque also adopts low CO2 systems such as Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS) and is built to maximise end of life recyclability.

2011 BMW i10 Megacity
According to some reports from German magazine Autobild, the BMW Megacity will see its official debut at the 2011 Franfurt Motor Show. till, the Frankfurt automotive event just got a bit more interesting and is going to be eagerly awaited by BMW fans with this in mind. The actual production version of the Megacity will be arriving at a much later date, 2013 being mentioned but quite possibly, still the same motor show will house its launch. The BMW Megacity will feature a carbon fiber structure, will be full-electric, will be available in three body styles (four-seater, two-seater and a sports car) and will be built in Leipzig. According to BMW targets the car is expected to sell around 150.000 units every year.

We all know that Lexus is doing some fantastic things for 2011 but do you know exactly what they are doing? Well, I have to tell you that the 2011 Lexus LFA is actually a prototype right now. Lexus LFA has made quite a few appearances around the world and the latest is the LA Auto Show. While the specs are not out yet for the 2011 Lexus LFA – they should be coming soon.
Honda announced plans to exhibit the world premiere of a prototype of the new small-sized vehicle which is scheduled to be introduced in India and Thailand in 2011 at the 27th Thailand International Motor Expo 2010 starting November 30. Apart from showing prototype in Motor Expo.the production car will get official debut at Thailand motorshow in March and the first delivery will begin in June.
2011 Porsche Cayenne
One of the main criticisms of the previous Cayenne was its blob-like shape, which looked a bit like an eroded brick. For Cayenne No. 2, chief designer Michael Mauer and his team devised more subtle air intakes underneath the front bumper and a more sculpted hood that has cut-lines like the iconic 911’s. The liftgate slopes more now, giving a lighter appearance at the back. While they were at it, the Porsche designers put together an interior that’s similar to the spectacular Panamera’s.

2011 Hyundai Veloster
Sources at Hyundai have confirmed that the Korean automaker's sporty new front-drive coupe based on its Veloster concept will make its U.S. debut at the 2011 Detroit auto show in January. After it debuts, Hyundai is drawing up plans to take the new car racing. Sales of the production car are expected to begin in the U.S. in the fall of 2011 as a 2012 model. The car is expected to retain much of the Veloster concept's styling, including its shooting brake greenhouse. The 2+2 will be front wheel-drive only and is expected to make use of a new direct-injected 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 140 horsepower, likely available with a manual transmission. While it's possible that Hyundai's more-powerful 2.4-liter four-cylinder or its new 2.0-liter turbo could fit under the hood, there's been no indication of such plans so far. Right now, Hyundai is said to be shooting for more than 40 mpg from the 1.6-liter engine.
