A Father of 600 Children
Austrian biologist, Bertold Wiesner, is a father of 600 children he conceived by donating sperm to his own clinic in London during the 40's. Two persons, sons of Bertold discovered this recently. It is considered that on this clinic there were about 1500 babies 'made' by artificial insemination, using the sperm of Weisner's highly intelligent friends, but it turned out that about 600 babies belong to Weisner himself! This kind of practice is forbidden by law, the same donor shouldn't be the father of that great number of children because there is a great possibility that some of them could meet by chance and found their own family, what could lead to severe genetic disorders of their descendants.
