Arthur Suydam, Marvel illustrator, decided to do something unusual and special for the Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth series that ran in 2010. Each issue was a cover of a famous movie poster(or music album cover), putting Deadpool in a variety of classic set-ups. The “Merc with the Mouth” series (to make a long story short) is about Deadpool being hired to recover a bio-weapon in the Savage Land. When he gets there, it turns out the weapon is actually his zombified head from the Marvel Zombie universe. The issues focus on Deadpool trying to get his head back to its universe and away from AIM.
