Eternal Love for His Master
Six years after his owner's death, one faithful German Shepherd Capitan still hasn't separated from the grave-monument of the late Argentine Miguel Guzman, and daily mourns for him. This dog is showing his eternal love for his master every day for the last six years. Capitan ran away from home when in 2006 his owner died, and a week later the family found him on the graveyard, howling of grief. Since then, he has almost never left the owners grave in the cemetery of the Villa Carlos Paz town. Miguel bought this dog in 2005, as a birthday present for his son Damian (13). In March next year, Miguel suddenly died and when the family returned from the funeral, the dog was already gone.
"We were looking for him, but he completely disappeared. We even thought someone had run over him. When we went to the cemetery, next week, Damian recognized his pet. Capitan came to us. He was moaning and barking, as if he was crying..." - said the Miguel's widow Veronica, adding that they never took the dog to the cemetery, so the question how he found it remains unanswered, a mystery. Damian tried to take the dog home a couple of times, but Capitan always came back to the cemetery. "I think that he'll be there until the day he dies, taking care of my dad" - Damian said. Workers at the cemetery are taking a good care of Capitan, they're feeding him everyday.
