Mysterious Stonehenge

Stonehenge is surely Britain’s national icon, symbolizing the mystique, power and endurance. Its primary purpose has remained unknown until now. However, it is likely that this was the church built as a symbol of worship of ancient gods. There are other versions of the meaning of this object, for example, that it was the observatory, which was followed by time and calendars, or that this was the place where the victims were sacrificed in the name of goods. The very use of this forgotten ancient wonder of the world is not as interesting as it is interesting way of its construction. What we can see today are only ruins of Stonehenge. Smaller and larger parts are removed for road construction, family houses. Also the visitors who could come very close to it since 1978 were taking small rocks as souvenirs.

Building of Stonehenge was very slow process, its construction began around 4000 years ago and it was completed around 3500 years ago. During that time, this was a huge project in which thousands of workers were involved, it was necessary to make special tools, unknown at that time and this project asked a lot of time and money. The inner circle of Stonehenge is made of so-called “blue stones” that have been passed down from the mountains of Wales, which are located more than 300 kilometers away. At that time, transportation of the stones was very difficult. Stones had to be transported over very inhospitable terrain across two rivers and to be set in Stonehenge. Each stone weighed about 4 tons, and there were about eighty in an inner circle.

This section is now almost completely destroyed, although it still considers that the construction of this part has not been fully completed. The outer circle is made of stones that have been passed down from the mountains about 30 kilometers away. These stones are even higher than the previously mentioned, they weigh over 50 tons and its transport was even greater problem than transport of the “blue stones”. It is believed that in some inaccessible areas needed more than 600 people to move one stone over the obstacle. When stone reached the spot it was necessary to utilize high leverage and strong ropes in order to set the stones in an upright position. Who built Stonehenge? This is a question that even today no one has a conclusive answer.

There are various theories and opinions, but each of them is missing a detail, which makes it remain just a hypothesis. According to legend, Stonehenge was built of stones from Africa, taken by the Giants, which was set in circles by the wizard Merlin, who used its magic to do so. Today it is relatively easy to reach Stonehenge, because in less than a kilometer from the highway. Today Stonehenge is Britain tourist attraction, the challenge for many historians and archaeologists, but also a meeting place of many religious sects that believe that today there is a spiritual power in this object.

Mandrill is the largest monkey species, but also the most endangered one. It is estimated that there are only about 3 000 of these animals left on Earth. Mandrill is about a meter high and weights up to 30 kg. Males are larger than females. They have highly developed fingers and toes. When they are walking, feet and other parts of the palms are not touching the ground, only their fingers are. Their body is covered with thick brown hair and face may be seen with bright colors and garish. His beard is ocher, and his face is a combination of pink and white. These collars have a function to scare Mandrills enemies. When excited, the colors on the face of mandrill become fainter. It makes a very loud noise when it’s scared. They live over 40 years. Interestingly, the cubs are born with open eyes and with hair that covers the whole body. They live in groups with about 100 members. During the day, they walk over 20 kilometers in search of food. They feed mainly on fruit and leaves and very rarely they hunt small animals. His biggest enemy is man, leopards and African Crowned Eagle. Mandrill inhabits the edges of rain forests in the western part of Central Africa, southern Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Congo.

Mauna Loa is an active volcano in Hawaii. It is located on the western part of Hawaii’s largest island and is one of the largest volcanoes of the world. Almost 50% of the island of Hawaii is composed of cooled lava of volcanoes Mauna Loa and Kilauea. The main crater of the volcano Mauna Loa is located at an altitude of 4170 meters. However, the lava from the volcano appears on the fringes of the mountains, even in the underwater parts of the Hawaiian coast. These two Hawaiian volcanoes are typical of those occurring in underwater volcanic eruptions. Namely, it is considered that the greater part of the island emerged from the lava cooled underwater eruption. Interestingly, the total height of the volcano, measured from its base under the ocean, is 9000 meters.

Also, Mauna Kea, dormant volcano on the same island if measured in this way is 10250 meters high. In both cases it is more than the highest point on the land of our planet – Mount Everest! Volcanoes that are formed by cooled lava are relatively rare. They make up less than 10% of all volcanoes on Earth. Also, the number of eruptions that come from these volcanoes has a relatively small share in the total number of eruptions. Mauna Loa is one of the biggest attractions in Hawaii, at least in those moments when there is no eruption. It is interesting that the height of the volcano eruption increases with each new.

Faces in Stone of Mount Rushmore

Mount Rushmore in the United States was declared a national monument in 1925. The most interesting fact is that this was declared a national monument even before a construction began in 1927. It is located in south western Dakota in the Black Hills. Faces of U.S. presidents are carved into the rock of these hills. There are figures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. President faces are engraved at about 150 meters above the valley, which lies next to the rock, and height of each carved face is about 20 meters. The cost for the whole project was a million dollars, which is a small sum for the cultural value of this monument. An American historian Dan Robinson gave the idea for this monument and the project work was conducted by sculptor Gutzon Borglum, who died in 1941 before the completion of the monument, but his son finished his father’s work. The monument is located near the Borglum studio, which is a sort of mini museum that includes tools used for building a monument.

Mark Mckenna is in bussines for more than 24 years! He began to work for Marvel on 1986′s Sectaurs: Warriors of Symbion (a line of action figures released by Coleco in 1985) and Marvel published an eight issue limited series. His work continues through Marvel Tales, Dai Kamikaze!, Swords of Texas, The Amazing Spider-Man, Psi-Force, Judge Dredd, Doctor Strange, X-Men Unlimited, Batgirl… all the way to the 2011′s Star Wars: the Old Republic. Yes, he is one of the artists that has worked for both Marvel and DC, and his works are highly prized among fans. He is best known for his work on Exiles, but fans still enjoy and respect his works on other issues. Unfortunately, Mark has left the comic book business some 10 years ago when “comics work started to change for me”, as he said; he left more than 7,000 pages and almost full 450 books as his legacy. He than starts Banana Tail and Friends, projects that he set up for himself. For us fans only remains to enjoy his past work, and hope to see him again in business!

If Tears Had Color

This is something that recently crossed my mind. If the reason we are crying would be connected to the color of our tears – what would it be? We all cry and not just for one reason, so how would it be if we could know the reason someone’s crying by the color of the tears? There is also a symbolic description of what each and every color presents, and it is proved that colors have influence of peoples feelings and emotions. There was an experiment on this – they put a man into the room with red walls (and everything else inside was red) and after a while when they let him out, he became noticeably more aggressive than he was before. And what do you think, why the hospital’s and other medical institution’s walls are green? It is said that the olive green color represents peace, which is especially needed in hospitals where everyone is sick and in panic for his/her own life and health. So, let’s go back to the subject, we know that our emotions as well as our tears are very hard to control, but if our tears could reveal the reason of crying, how would it look like?

1. Red tears

I guess that red is the color associated with so much more things than any other color, except for black, maybe. It is most often connected with love, blood, passion… Well, since we (often) don’t cry from passion, we’ll have to look at some bad connotations of red color, something that would be worth crying. The ‘negative’ side of red is that it represents (and evokes) feelings like anger, malice, rage, aggression, wrath, hate, violence. Very intensive emotions, that demand an action. So, if we cried from an anger, hate, not expressed aggression, our tears would be red. It could be a good indicator that someone is in one of these moods, and needs to calm down a little.

2. Yellow tears

Yellow has lots of good ‘aspects‘, it is the color of the Sun in the first place, than it is connected with life, energy, wisdom, intelligence, joy, happiness, even gold! The other side of a (golden-yellow) medal is that this is the most upsetting color for babies, so remember not to paint the baby’s room yellow. Bad emotions that could provoke crying attached to this color are betrayal, dishonesty, deceit, jealousy, illness, cowardice, fear, caution. So if any of these feelings and emotions provoked our crying, our tears could be yellow.

3. Blue tears

An ancient Chinese belief says that this is a spiritual color, it denotes sky and Heaven. It may represent water and cleanliness too. It is a cool color, the opposite of red and yellow and it symbolizes tranquility and calm. Some people say that it is good to keep the water in the blue bottles – well, here’s the connection. Ok, that’s good, let’s go to the ‘dark’ side of the blue. P.S. There is one unresolved question – why is this color considered masculine? You know how people always buy blue stuff for boys and pink stuff for girls… Well, the only bad thing blue is connected to, besides declaration that it suppresses the appetite, is depression. So, blue tears equals depression. This would be the most serious cry for help.

4. Purple tears

Purple is a mixture of red and blue, we all discovered it when playing with watercolors. So, it’s the same in symbolism – it combines the emotions of these two colors. The mixture brings harmony and calm in aggressive red and revivifies the tranquility of blue. It also symbolizes the royalty and magic. It is not so frequent in nature, so it was connected to royal families’ portraits, because of its cost (to make it artificially) and only such persons as kings and princes had money for it. If we cried purple tears, it would mean that we are nostalgic, frustrated, sad or maybe even insane! So, hope not for the purple tears!

5. Black tears

Well, even if we are not completely sure what does black stand for, we can assume that it is nothing good. We even use it to describe some really bad things, or things we don’t understand, like Black hole, black mailing… Though it is scientifically explained as an absence of colors (so, it’s not the color at all), as well as white, our eye still notices it the same way as red or blue. There are little good meanings of black – like elegance (little black dress or black suit), or sophistication and formality. But in Christianism it is used to mark grief, it should be worn for 40 days after someone close to you dies. In psychology, it denotes loneliness and remorse, so if this sounds familiar to you, you’d better expect black tears. It is also called ‘the color of the night’ when dark forces act; black represents world opposite to the daylight one, we can see that well showed in movies. Also, it stands for bad luck and misfortune, so here’s the plenty of reasons why someone could cry black tears, if we exclude mascara.

6. Green tears

The first thing that crosses your mind when you think of green is nature, isn’t it? Or money? Well, this color is similar to blue by its coolness and calming effects. It is said that green can improve one’s sight. Good attributes of this color are its connection to eternal life – like evergreens (literally and metaphorically), health, freshness and safety. Darker tones of green remind of money and military – something that can represent safety. It is also used to express immaturity (that originates in relation to fruits or vegetables, when they’re not ripe yet) and we say that someone is a ‘green horn’ when he/she is inexperienced. Bad aspects are the symbolization of envy, discord and jealousy. So, if you can get so envious that you cry about it, now you know what you should expect.

8. Transparent or ordinary tears

According to this division, transparent tears would mean or the cry with happiness or cry for no reason. Anyway, nothing new. Unfortunately, we cry so rarely with happiness and so frequently for no corresponding reason, though we think we have it. Nevertheless, these tears are all we have.

Vampira, One And Only

Tight black dress, long black hair, pale skin, narrow waist are the main characteristics of Morticia Adams. But in Hollywood, in the fifties there was an actress who used all of this to create her own character Vampira. Vampira was the first TV horror host. In the late evening hours, shows of this specific person could be seen on the small TV screens of U.S. families. Before every horror film that was shown on KBC-TV, Vampira would tell her scary stories and announce the movies. She did it in a very specific way. During her performance she was screaming, laughing, talking to her pet Rollo (who was a spider), sitting in a coffin… Her performance started with her walking down the dark hallway full of mist and when she comes closer to the camera she begins her characteristic screaming.

Vampira’s real name is Maila Nurmi. Maila is an American actress with Finnish origin. Born as Maila Elizabeth Syrjäniemion December 11th, 1922, in the Finnish city Petsamo. In 1923 she moved with her family to a village in Ohio USA. After Ohio family moved to Astoria, Oregon, where she graduated. Shortly after graduation Maila Elizabeth Syrjaniemi moved to Los Angeles where her career soon began. In the fifties when she appeared as a Vampira character she definitely caused all sorts of opinions. People have admired her, wondered and even feared because her appearance certainly wasn’t common. A woman with pale skin completely dressed in black with strong and aggressive makeup, long nails and skulls around her certainly isn’t something that can be seen every day.

On arrival to Los Angeles, Maila shortens her name to Maila Nurmi and finds a job as a model. At the beginning of her career she was a model, pin-up girl, chorus girl and a monologist (forerunner to stand up comedy). Maila created her Vampira character by watching evil queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Morticia from “Adams Family”, Theda Bara (a famous actress from the silent era), Norma Desmond (the character from the movie “Sunset Boulevard” which was played by Gloria Swanson) and the Dragon Lady from the comic “Terry and Pirates”. Maila Nurmi in her later interviews said that as young she was very thin (almost anorexic), ugly, shy, insecure, poor, and that she was getting dressed from second-hand shops and therefore felt the needs to create an imaginary character who will be in total contravention of Maila herself. Vampira was sexy, nice, noble, safe and a bit evil. Maila spoke “Vampira played vicious person, especially in front of the press because they worshiped it”.

Vampira’s career began when Maila decided to appear dressed as Morticia on one important event in Los Angeles. When she appeared dressed all in black, with elegant moves and looks of Gloria Swanson, she was immediately caught in the eyes of many people. She was especially noticed by Hunt Stromberg Jr. a producer, who thought to employ her to announce horror films in the late evening hours. And so in 1954. the figure of Vampira was officially made.

On May the 1st, 1954 the “The Vampira Show” premiere was broadcasted. In the first few weeks show was broadcasted at midnight and then the broadcast was moved an hour behind, at 23h. Her show very quickly became viewed as its emission was certainly something new, specific and unique. Soon everybody knew Vampira.

Maila was soon engaged as a Vampira in other projects such as a comedy skit with elements of horror film “The Red Skeleton Show” with a horror film legends such as Bela Lugosi, Peter Lorre and Lon Chaney Jr. Soon after that many magazines were interested in her. Among them was the magazine “Life” which published Vampira’s pictures and stories about her. Her career at KBC-TV ends when leaders of this television demanded from her to sell them rights to the character Vampira. Maila refuses and goes to another television KHJ-TV where she continues her show. Vampira has participated in many other projects out her show. In 1954 she was nominated for an Emmy Award as “Most Outstanding Female Personality”.

Maila Nurmi appeared as Vampira in several films. The most famous films in which Vampira character appeared were “Plan 9 from Outer Space” and “The Beat Generation”. “Plan 9 from Outer Space” is a movie by Ed Wood in which she appears next to the legendary Vampire Dracula Bela Lugosi. That was his last film. Bela died in the middle of filming and was replaced by doubler. In this movie Maila played a zombie who looks like Vampira.

Maila later acted in various movies. These are: “I Passed for White”, “Sex Kittens Go to College”, “The Magic Sword” … After that, she appeared on the screen just for a bit. The last movie that she filmed was from 1998, “I Woke Up Early the Day I Died.”

Many documentary films about Vampira were recorded and documentaries referring to Vampira or where Maila Nurmi was interviewed. The most famous documentaries that are recorded about her and with her in it are: “About Death, Sex and Taxes” (1995) is a Finnish documentary film, “The Haunted World of Edward D. Wood, Jr..” (1995) which was about “The Vampira Show “, “Vampira: The Movie” (2004) documentary about Vampira, “American Scary” (2006) documentary about horror films in which we can see an interview with Maila Nurmi and many others. What is interesting about this is that Vampira was a very close friend of the famous rebel James Dean during the fifties. James Dean was pleased with her appearance and wanted to meet her. After that, people often saw them together in the cafes, until his death. Also a well known American singer Bobby Bare sang a song called “Vampira”.

Maila Nurmi died on January the 10th, 2008. in Los Angeles in her old-age.

1. Gisborne (New Zeland)

The airport in Gisborne certainly deserved to be on the list of the most unique in the world. Runway of this airport is crossing with the railroad which is used for freight and passenger traffic. 2. Hong Kong

Inadvisable Diets

Food is essential for life, but also for happiness and confidence. It can connect people, but also ‘divide’ because some drastic diets can make you eat alone. Now, we’re introducing the worst of them. Most of these diets are not clinically tested, and besides they require great sacrifices, they can cause the yo-yo effect.

1. Paleo diet

This diet is based on food intake that existed in the Paleozoic, about 10,000 years ago. This means you can only eat one food that you can catch or pick. It is based on pork, seafood, eggs, fruits, vegetables and nuts. The food you should avoid are grain, dairy products, salt, refined sugar and processed oil. The only downside of this diet is that it is very difficult to respect, and possible problems with lack of nutrients that come from whole grains and milk.

2. Zone diet

One of the more effective and less controversial is the zone diet that ask you to enter in each meal fixed amounts of protein (30 percent), carbohydrates (40 percent) and fat (30 percent). It seems simple, but doctors fear that the zone diet promotes the intake of large amounts of saturated fats that can raise blood cholesterol levels and in the long run lead to heart disease.

3. Raw Food Diet

This variant promotes a vegan diet intake of of organic foods such as fresh fruit, coconut milk, seaweed, grains, legumes nuts and vegetables. Certainly, there are people who consume this kind of food for a very long time and are ‘safe and sound’. However, for them there is often a lack of vitamin B12 and vitamin A and some antioxidants, which exist only in cooked foods.

4. HCG diet

People are willing to do anything to lose weight, even if it means to endure pain. Thus hCG diet involves daily injections of human chorionic supplements with gonadotropin (hCG) – the pregnancy hormone that is used in the treatment of infertility. The hormone is combined with a radical restriction of calories, which leads to serious health disorders. In addition, hCG has numerous side effects from headaches and dizziness, to nervousness or enlarge breasts in men.

5. Detox diet

It is allegedly used by all the Hollywood stars, which means that they live out of lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne. However, what this diet manages to do is to turn the acid environment from the body into the alkali, or better say healthy. Although it is true that it has a good effect on health, this diet certainly shouldn’t be implemented as a continuous mode, because you will lack the vitamins and minerals, lost weight will return as soon as you return to normal eating.

6. Meal replacement

Many companies produce so-called meal replacement: shakes or “cookies” which allegedly contain all the necessary nutrients. All you need is that instead of a meal, eat a “cookie” or drink a potion. However, the truth is that with them you will often be hungry, and monotonous food will make you to finish with “torture” as soon as possible.

7. Diet by Blood Type

Maybe it seems that this diet is something “healthier”, but do not be fooled. There is no scientific proof that it works, but its effectiveness has not been alleged nor disproved. The diet is based on food intake according to blood type: A – vegetarian, B – balanced, AB – a combination of food groups, O – protein, because, apparently the proteins from food are digested differently according to the blood group. However, doctors recommend only intake of all kinds of food, moderate and often, along with moderate exercise.

8. Dukan diet

“Attack“, “cruise”, “consolidating” and “stabilization” are phrases of the Dukan diet. You may find these names are more like a naval battle, than to diet, but each of them reportedly does just that with your energy. Therefore, according to Dukan, fats are the enemy and they have to be solved by replacing it with large amounts of proteins, while carbohydrates are eliminated in the initial two phases. As with the Atkins diet, you will suffer from a lack of vital nutrients, bad breath, dizziness and problems with kidneys.

9. Atkins diet

This diet asks you to drastically reduce your intake of carbohydrates, and replace them with proteins – bacon, cheese or eggs. The idea is that obese people use too many refined carbohydrates, or “empty” calories, and that without them the body burns fat deposited. However, nutritionists and doctors are concerned about several aspects of the diet. The first process is called ketosis when the body burns its own fat as energy. Harmful side effects are halitosis, constipation, and even damage to the kidneys and liver. Since these organs are working overtime because of increased protein intake, it is necessary to drink large amounts of water. Carbohydrates, on the other hand, have always been “building blocks” of healthy eating that leads to sustainable energy and health functioning of the brain. Without them you will probably be thinner, but certainly not healthier.

10. Acai diet

Acai Berry was once an ordinary piece of fruit that grows in the Amazon rainforest, but has recently become very popular. Promoted on the basis of the high content of antioxidants, which improve digestion, detoxify the body and slow the aging. That’s why it became a common dietary supplement that allegedly melts weight. There is no exact food regime in Acai diet, but the idea is to put this supplement into every meal, every day. However, the effect of blackberry has not been proven, and most supplements are produced without adequate controls.

In the world that we live in, there is so called ‘division‘ on the West and the East world, or side at least. It is not so strange when you look at the differences between China and America for example. These two countries are the perfect example for showing how medicine works. The modern, western medicine says that almost everything can be cured with medicaments, while alternative, eastern medicine claims that the western medicaments cure just consequences and not the real causes of a disease and bad physical conditions, and unless you don’t heal the real cause(s) the disease will return, it one or the other form. There are many examples of complete healing using acupuncture, reiki, ajur-veda, meditation, yoga… Also, the alternative medicine gave a lot of answers that traditional medicine couldn’t. In this article we will try to give you one proof of what we said. Now think about this: If the modern medicine cures diseases completely, why do we have side effects? Here are some of the worst!

8. Hallucinations

I have the honor to inform you that you don’t have to take illegal drugs like LSD or some strong painkillers in order to have hallucinations. Some medications can have a hallucination as a side effect – visual and auditory, so the adventure is complete. A medicine called Lariam was invented by Reed Army Medical Center, to prevent the outbreak of malaria in the US army. Despite of Lariam’s serious side effects, it was until recently given to the army going out of country, and even to some tourists. Both of them had experienced and reported strange and scary hallucinations and very violent behavior due to taking of this medicine. In the beginning of 2000′s, American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) insisted on very detailed review of patient’s anamnesis, before the patient could get Lariam as a therapy. So if you have a depression or some kind of psychosis in your record, it will be better for you never to take Lariam.

7. Serious change of behavior

Restless Leg syndrome (RLS) is, unfortunately, a disease many people suffer from. This disease may affect one’s arms and torso too, not just legs. Symptoms are itching and tickling in your legs or arms that won’t stop. Being so frequent disease, there are a lot of medications for it – one of them is Requip. This medication has so called James Bond Casino Royale side effect, and by that I mean a sudden urge to gamble, have sex and become violent. If there are still some of you who haven’t run to the pharmacy to buy this medication, here’s one warning – when you take this medicine, you will very rapidly begin to feel oddly horney and might find yourself doing sexual things without knowing how you got there, if you know what I mean. And in addition to all this, Requip may in some cases cause auditorial and tactile hallucinations. So, imagine yourself having sex or gambling and hallucinating at the same time! Well, if you are still decided to try so, try to escape before the police come.

6. Amnesia

The temporary or permanent memory loss is something that often happens in the movies or soap operas, but it can happen in real life too and it can be caused by many things. A serious accident, a severe head injury and some traumatic experience are just some of the things that can cause amnesia. It can be a side effect of some medicines, for example the Mirapex or Lipitor. The first is used to control the manifestations of the Parkinson disease, but some patients reported that they couldn’t remember where they were and what they did only a day before *a temporary memory loss*. Some medications that are supposed to lower the level of cholesterol can cause amnesia too, by blocking the creation of cholesterol that is needed for good neurological functioning. So, it would be great if you could lower the income of products containing cholesterol to avoid taking medicaments that can seriously damage your memory.

5. Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS)

Here is one true-story example, what only ibuprofen can do to you! Veronica Zekner is a person whose life was completely changed by a couple of Ibuprofen pills. When she was just 13 years old she had a terrible headache – that happens to everybody, so like many times before and like the rest of us, she took two pills of Ibuprofen to get rid of the headache. But that time, something unusual happened – the pills she took caused a strange reaction and Veronica became a victim of the worst side effect, the most of us have probably never heard of, the Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. This is very serious and bad-looking skin disease in which the upper layer of the skin (especially around eyes and lips) divides from the dermis; it can in some cases lead to skin cancer. And that’s still not it – some patients may go blind, in some cases the disease infects even lungs. The worst thing is that in the majority of cases, doctors are not able to tell what triggered the reaction, they only suppose that it can be started by drugs, medications, genetic predispositions and bad immune system… Not some confort to the ill ones.

4. Hirsutism, psychosis

The puberty is a period of life when a lot of body and mind changes happen. Our hairs all over the body grows, the level of hormons radically changes, we may have acne… It can be very traumatic period of growing up. But, thanks to the modern medicine, today we have cremes and other skin care preparations to eliminate the acne. One of medicaments like this is Accutane that can do more than just eliminate your acne, it can cause something worst! How do you feel when you hear those words – hepatitis, rectal bleeding, hirsutism (excessive hair growth in many places), psychosis, general bouts of depression, etc.? Not very good, I guess. So, in case you feel like you cannot live with your acne, just think about one of the previous listed things, that you could get by using anti-acne medicaments, and you will instantly feel better. The mitigating fact is that all those side effects never happened at the same time (otherwise it’ll be catastrophic).

3. Inability to control discharges

Food and Drug Administration (of the USA) is obliged to test every medicament before putting it into the public use. This is especially related to non-prescription medicaments, such as Alli (a weight loss drug). During the testing of Alli, reported side effects were more than disgusting! If you put aside the abdominal pain, and look at the other side effects you will never wish to lose weight in this way. Other side effects are constant fecal urgency and inability to control it, oily stool (oily discharge without a real stool), fecal incontinence, infection of sinus, back pain… Did you have enough? At least I did, so if you want to go slimmer, I suggest that you make some effort and do some exercises, and of course pay attention to what you eat.

2. Suicidal Ideation

Give the warm welcome to Larium, again. Besides causing hallucinations it is to be blamed for several suicides. As we previously said, it was given to the soldiers who went out of country, so it is natural that those are the ones who killed themselves, but one disturbing fact is that the wives of these soldiers killed themselves with the same medicament when they found out what killed their husbands. It is no official side effect of Larium, but who could ever say that its medicament can cause paranoia and suicidal thoughts in your head? ‘Some patients taking Larium think about killing themselves, and there have been rare reports of suicide’ stands in the manufacturer’s statement. Well, it would be great if this was the only medicament that causes suicidal ideation, but another big group of medications like this are antidepressants that are widely used. Being in the state of depression, it is not strange that you might have such thoughts. I guess the most of you have watched the ‘Little Miss Sunshine‘ movie… And you know that it is about a girl who is a little chubby, not that pretty and very very clumsy, but she is still trying with all her might to become little miss sunshine.
