Everyone knows what the acronym WAG means - this is a British term for the wives and girlfriends of famous athletes, mainly football players (soccer). The British press coined it during the 2006 World Cup to describe the soccer wives of England’s national players whose good looks, expense accounts, few working brain cells, and material obsessions created their own subculture. The acronym has since been used by the media in other countries to describe the wives and girlfriends of sportsmen in general. On this occasion we present the UK's 10 Best WAGs.
